On the Road with Nexus Design

We are no strangers to trades shows (read more here Swimming Upstream – Trade Show Networking Reimagined). We have attended many but we’ve never made the commitment to exhibit at one...until now. Earlier this month we put on our marketing hats and took the plunge at Design 2 Part in Secaucus, New Jersey!

This show meant more than packing business cards and making travel plans. It meant designing a trade show booth. It was a lot of work, but also a lot of fun. We welcomed the challenge to conceptualize, and then realize, our own corporate identity smartly tucked into 800 cubic square feet (our trade show foot print). It meant designing an environment showcasing who we are and what we do best.

ND_OTR.jpgCrammed with design and designers, while remaining spacious and inviting.

We went for a modern and intelligible approach, an inviting atmosphere with product examples to spur discussion, a single unified graphic presentation, and live demos of concept sketch ideation. Oh, and we had chocolate candy too, after all who can turn down free chocolates?

For us it was a successful endeavor, a learning experience and challenge that we will revisit again soon. If you would like to learn more about us (or even just grab a chocolate and say hi) we will post our trade show calendar on our site! Stay posted...more to come!
